The 5th Annual Samoana Jazz and Arts Festival is hosting over 20 international and local artists in a weekend of professionally staged excitement - in the 2Samoas!
Performers for the 2018 Festival include:
Samoan Grammy Award winner, La‘auli Matt Catingub and his Quintet of highly acclaimed US/NZ musicians: Steve Moretti (USA), Kevin Axt (USA), Christina Souza (Hawaii), Mike Booth (NZ), Andrew Hall (NZ); “Papana,” the U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific-Hawaii’s eight piece ensemble; Lea Love (USA), backed by the Samoana Jazz Band; Michelle Rounds (Cairo, Egypt); recent Tauranga Jazz & Blues Festival (NZ) headliner Sydney based Samoan blues musician Isaiah B Brunt, backed by Joey Cummings and the BB Kings of American Samoa. NZ based Samoana Trumpet Diva Edwina Thorne.
